Permits and Local Rules

Pleasanton roofing permits go through the City of Pleasanton Building and Safety Division at 200 Old Bernal Avenue. The 2022 California Residential Code applies with standard Alameda County amendments. Chapter 7A matters for the western hillside properties near Callippe Preserve and along Foothill Road. HOA approval is separate from and usually more restrictive than the city permit.
